[Entrapta bounces. A full body motion, rippling all the way out through her yards of hair. A few hapless cadets have to dodge out of the way or else be flattened.]

Reporting for mission, Force Captain! Lead the way!!!

[Congrats Catra you're now somehow in charge of this escapade!]

This was your idea!

[ Ahhh, Entrapta. Every day an adventure Catra never asked for. ]

[Mo' Princess, mo' problems! Too late now! Entrapta just beams. Clapping her hands together.]

Yes! But I don't know where the snacks are, so I am stepping aside for the superior expertise!

[That was... a compliment? Maybe?]

[ blink blink ]

Well. Okay then.

[ She may puff out her chest a little. Don't point it out. ]

Follow me.

[ Even though she's Force Captain now, this might still get her in trouble, because even a Force Captain's perks are limited. Oh well. Maybe she's feeling a little rebellious. ]

[A Force Captain who is essentially in charge (?) of two Princesses now. One of whom needs Sustenance. Try and stop them!

Entrapta gambols after Catra. Hair keeping her up easily.]

I knew you were the best for this! Is there anything you need to know about the current target? I'm an expert!

[Entrapta really doesn't know why people tried to warn her about Catra. (You know. Before the whole 'Sentient hair and killer robots' thing really sank in!) Because Catra's pretty easy to get along with. You just have to tell the truth!

Which is weird. It doesn't seem to work so great with other people?

Something for further study! For now, better to focus on the current objective!]

... we're going to the kitchen tract, it's not really a target.

[ She thinks for a moment. ]

But perhaps you could help us be a little more... undetected?

[ Well, honestly, Catra is annoyed by Entrapta half the time, but impressed enough by her technological knowledge to keep her around. For however long she'll be useful. ]

[princessgeek]

[Which is still an improvement on Catra's Typical Annoyance Level, as far as Entrapta's calculations can tell! And now she's even giving out mission ideas. This is going great!]

Got it! Hold on! If I bypass the polar opposite circuit of the nearest capacitor -

[Bouncing over to the nearest keyboard, Entrapta begins tapping. Devolving into techno-babble.]

[ Which Catra quickly uses interest in, considering she understands exactly none of it. That's fine, though, as long as it gets her what she wants. ]

Yeah, you just... do your thing.

[princessgeek]

Thing DONE!

The cameras are now offline for thirteen seconds!

[That's plenty, right?!]

[plentystrong]

[ NOT REALLY ]

Well, then we better get going!

[ Which means Catra grabs Entrapta and goes on a wild dash for the kitchens. ]

GAH!

[Entrapta's towed along a few steps before her hair catches up. Galloping along besides Catra, she pulls up a display. Quickly checking their route.]

Left turn here LEFT LEFT LEFT!

[Unseen? Got it! Quiet?... Different problem!]

[ Catra quickly stops and turns around to Whisper Very Loudly at Entrapta. ]

I know where the kitchens are! Keep it quiet if you want your snacks!

[princessgeek]

[Whoops! Entrapta slaps a purple tendril across her mouth. Nodding frantically, eyes still bright from the excitement.]

[plentystrong]

[ Deep breaths Catra, deep breaths. ]

Okay. Just follow me.

[ And she turns around to start running again, occasionally bouncing along the walls.

She is very fast. ]

[princessgeek]

[Entrapta whips along behind. This is something else neat - Catra moves like her! Or close enough! Treating all surfaces as options.

It's hard not to whoop, but she keeps the threat of no snacks in mind!]

[ Catra gets near the entrance of the kitchens and hides in a dark corner, motioning for Entrapta to join her there.

Gotta make sure no one sees them. ]

It's because of Science~

[Catra is the expert on stealth so Entrapta follows the leader. Keeping quiet, she drops down. Except the corner of shadow is awfully small, so it may be closer then intended!]

[plentystrong]

[ Which immediately puts Catra's senses even more on edge, and she can only just about suppress the urge to give Entrapta a good shove.

However, she is focused enough on the task at hand to pass over her discomfort. Instead, she takes a peek inside the kitchen, then a deep inhale through her nose, eyebrows knitting together as she tries to discern all the different scents.

When that doesn't yield anything indicating human presence (beside Entrapta's), Catra moves on to carefully sneaking up beside the doorframe and having a good look inside the room.

Having determined it is safe, she turns to Entrapta. ]

Okay, we're in the clear. Let's go. In and out.

[princessgeek]

One second! You can see in the dark, right?

[Entrapta pulls down her mask, flicking it to Night Vision. Of course she has a Night Vision mode. You can't count on air ducts to be well-lit!

Opening a panel, she fiddles with some wires. Kitchen lights winking out one by one. Though it's impossible to see her face, no question she is beaming.]

There!

[With that, she's swinging in!]

[ Catra has to blink for a moment, because while she does have excellent night vision, her eyes do have to adjust. But then she smirks. ]

Good move. Let's not waste any more time, though.

[ She quickly glances over her shoulder to spot Entrapta, but then pounces silently along the walls toward the part of the pantry where the fancy food for the upper ranks is kept. ]

[Entrapta follows her nose, right to several promising-looking bundles. It's hard to make out fine details. Important things like sizes (preferably TINY) but even she knows this is not the time to be choosy!

She winds her hair around several, pulling carefully. Who knows what booby traps could still lurk...]

[plentystrong]

[ Catra, too, selects a few things she knows she likes, from when she stole some from the kitchens before. But she's careful not to overdo it. ]

Okay, okay, that's enough. Let's get out of here.

[princessgeek]

[Entrapta's still rummaging. Lower to the ground now, easily in 'grab and drag' range. If necessary. Someone's going to notice the power outage any second!]

Wait, one more - !

[Despite the earlier focus, she can't help wanting to explore all the options!]

[ And indeed, Catra's ears twitch when she hears footsteps from the hall. She grabs Entrapta and hisses at her. ]

Enough, someone's coming!

[princessgeek]

Whup! Okay! Air vents!

[She's memorized alternate exits in the brief map glance. Just in case! Wriggling the grate off a wall, Entrapta gestures frantically with a tendril.]

Go! I'm right behind you!

[Someone has to put the plate back! Otherwise someone will figure out this wasn't just faulty wiring!]

[ Yeah, so, Catra doesn't love that. She hides out in all sorts of places, but vents? They're a bit too cramped for her liking. ]

Why do I have to go first?

[princessgeek]

Do you know how to reattach this plate? We have 7.6 seconds!

[Entrapta's not the sort to just shove Catra in - but they're on a pretty narrow timeframe now!]

Okay, fine!

[ Reluctantly, Catra gets in the vent - not without taking the opportunity to use Entrapta as a stepladder, though. ]

Oof!

[Hey, more efficient! Entrapta boosts Catra with a curl of hair, then whips up after her. Careful not to crush any of the bounty!

She presses a finger to her lips as the lights flash back on.]

[plentystrong]

[ Catra is used to getting out of situations unseen and unheard, so she already was about to make her escape, but she notices Entrapta's not following.

She looks back, sees the finger on Entrapta's lips, then rolls her eyes and plops down.

From the kitchens, she hears the shuffling sound of movement, and then a shout: Hey, who raided the pantry?

Shit. They had to be smooth now or they'd be in trouble. ]

[Fortunately, Entrapta's done an excellent job fixing the grate back on. And between Catra's agility and her own hair? No traces to be found! Not normal ones, anyway! All they have to do is keep... still...

There's some really rude words as the technicians and cook scuffle around. Eventually throwing their hands up in frustration.]

[plentystrong]

[ And it takes about all of Catra's willpower to not yell back at them, giving her and Entrapta away, but for once, she checks herself in time. There's the grate separating them from the kitchens, anyway, and getting through that to properly yell would be too much effort.

Eventually, the grumbling dies down, and there's only shuffling to be heard from the kitchens as the cooks and technicians clean up the small mess they made. It's as good a time as any to make their escape, so Catra tugs on Entrapta's sleeve and jerks her head toward where the vent continues into darkness. ]
